I play GW only. No other game. I find plenty to do in GW and I really need nothing else.

I'm amazed about the criteria people set up for being "hardcore".

Before GW (my only online game) I would have said anyone dedicating +200 hours to a computer game as being "extremely hardcore". But it is hard to find a regular player that play GW "that little".

I used to play GW so much, people would ask "do you ever sleep?" lol. 2 accounts with all 3 chapters. Then people in the game got unbearable with the spam, cursing, rudeness, etc, so I moved on to another game. I still check in now and then to see if its gotten better. May be awhile before I make it exclusive again, but I keep checking cause there is still hope lol. /wave

GW is my exclusive online game for nearly 3 monthes now...

Played 3-4 hours a day (now I've got a job.... sad thing).

I still play with other game, but on a more casual fashion (Fallout, The Sims 2, Oblivion) when I get tired of some die hard mission... ^^

I've been playing GW since x-mas'06, have all 3 chapters, I have around 1700+hrs log in time with 8 toons me and my GF started GW at the same time. And since we live together we play together almost everyday,1-2hrs.

But lately GW has become somewhat different than I remember, maybe i'll take a break from it when FF12 come out in the UK.

Meh... I'm sure I've said here already... but the only online games I've ever played are Guild Wars and Phantasy Star Online.... and they're completely different.

... Plus the only games I play at the moment are GW, Oblivion and Enchanted Arms... for the most part. GW gets most of that time to itself.

Hardcore?
I wouldn't consider my current 4-6 hours a day hardcore at all. Its softcore by my standards. I used to play games for several days straight without sleep ... only briefly stopping to make sandwiches or go to the toilet...
I can't do that now since I have a 9:30 to 5:30 job.

How is that even possible anyway? The absolute maximum number of hours that exist in two months is 1488 ....
Doing it for 2 hours a day would net at most 124 hours.
1700 hours at 2 hours a day would take 2 years and 4 months... approximately. ^_^ ... Since that amount of time hasn't passed since Christmas 2005, I'd conclude either that the claim was false as regards play-time overall, or as regards time spent on the game per day.

Guild Wars is my fourth MMO, played EverQuest, Horizons (stunk), Asheron's Call 2, and Lineage 2. I've been playing Guild Wars since the beta events back in October of 2004, sadly with all the other games and school I've only put in 900 hours. Of course that could be due to all the time I spent away from Guild Wars after Factions or Guild Wars: The stinky expansion came out .

I play Counter Strike (1.6 and Source), Ut2004, Battlefield (all of them except for vietnam), StarCraft, Warcraft (Not WoW, hated it during my free trial), Homeworld. I basically will play a game if it's good despite whether it's an FPS, RTS, RPG, MMORPG, or other.

Meh... I've got a 9:30 to 5:30 job and I still manage 4-6 hours a day... in the evenings... not counting my daily 45 minutes in the morning. Is your work that exhausting?

... And incidentally... what do you do in the studio? I rather wish I had something more graphical than my client-data office job... but that option never opened itself up to me.

Guild Wars is my first "real" Online RPG. I used to play Neverwinter Nights online, but now I just play the Neverwinter Nights 2 in multiplayer and GW. I've also tried RuneScape, SilkRoad etc , but they are just horrible games with lots of grinding .

So, yes. I play Guild Wars everyday even if it's just for an hour, but not exclusively.
